Overview
Associate Director/Director, Clinical Delivery Capabilities - EMP at Eli Lilly and Company. Eli Lilly is a global healthcare leader headquartered in Indianapolis, Indiana. The role supports exploratory and biopharmaceutics clinical development within Exploratory Medicine and Pharmacology.
Responsibilities
* Lead activities supporting study development and execution for exploratory and biopharmaceutics clinical studies.
* Own updates to corporate systems and process documentation (e.g., CT Registry, Vault Clinical, eTMF, compound level documentation).
* Provide leadership in business interactions with TPO partners; execute portfolio management and issue escalation processes.
* Maintain awareness of regulatory issues and trends relevant to the portfolio.
* Collaborate with cross‑functional stakeholders to drive process and technology improvements.
* Drive definition and implementation of metrics or measures to quantify portfolio deliverables and assess process effectiveness.
* Support emerging technology initiatives (e.g., artificial intelligence tools) to advance medicines to the clinic.
Minimum Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree in a science‑related field from an accredited college or university.
* Three years’ experience in the pharmaceutical industry with direct experience managing clinical studies.
* Experience with regulations and guidelines that apply to the conduct of clinical trials.
* Project management, leadership and time management skills.
* Experience working cross‑culturally and in a virtual work environment.
Additional Preferences
* Advanced scientific degree (PharmD, etc.).
* Five years’ experience in the pharmaceutical industry with direct experience managing clinical studies, ideally in exploratory and biopharmaceutics clinical development.
* Demonstrated ability to influence internal and external environments and forge strong working relationships.
* Strong organizational and interpersonal skills and flexibility in varying environments.
* Strong verbal reasoning, attention to detail, critical thinking, problem solving, and analytical abilities.
* Proven experience of coaching and mentoring others.
* Ability to travel up to 10% expected.

Compensation
Actual compensation will depend on a candidate’s education, experience, skills, and geographic location. The anticipated wage for this position is
$115,500 - $169,400.
Full‑time equivalent employees also will be eligible for a company bonus (depending, in part, on company and individual performance).
