You’ll work flexibly across home, school and community settings, building trusting relationships and empowering families to make lasting changes. Key Responsibilities Deliver one-to-one and joint sessions with children, young people and their families. Promote emotional wellbeing, physical health and resilience using strength-based and trauma-informed approaches. Support children with issues such as anxiety, emotional regulation, friendships and school engagement. Assist parents with confidence building, routines, and navigating family dynamics. Collaborate with schools and referrers, advocating for children and attending professional meetings. Maintain accurate records and follow safeguarding procedures. What you’ll need to succeed Experience working with children or young people and supporting wellbeing. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Understanding of mental health and neurodiversity (ASD/ADHD). Ability to work independently and flexibly, including occasional evenings and weekends. Full driving licence and access to own transport. Desirable experiences include Mental Health First Aid training and basic counselling skills or the willingness to undertake training.
