Bouygues UK has an exciting opportunity for an experienced MEP Manager to work on projects based in West London. In this role, you will manage the performance of MEP contractors on site, ensuring compliance with Health and Safety, programme, and quality standards, as well as managing package interfaces, technical subcontractors, etc. As the MEP Manager, you will be part of the site management team and report to the Project Director. Your experience can be from an electrical or mechanical background, with proven capability of managing a total MEP package worth £16m, including the main MEP package and several CDP packages.
Essential Skills and Experience:
* Procure, manage the design, and oversee the production and handover of MEP packages, including testing and commissioning.
* Experience managing MEP subcontractors and packages across multiple sites or blocks.
* Proven experience in mechanical or electrical disciplines.
* Experience working with a main contractor or large MEP subcontractor.
* Relevant building services qualifications (Mechanical and Electrical) are advantageous but not essential; understanding of all related disciplines is required.
* Strong attention to detail.
* IT literacy.
Job Purpose and Scope:
* Procure, coordinate, and supervise all M&E activities on site.
* Manage all M&E activities with a focus on:
* Health & Safety
* Quality (as per Bouygues UK's management system)
* Programme adherence
* Liaise daily with other trades.
