A growing business is looking for 2x Class 2 Drivers to join the team in the Fenstanton area. Along with a salary of up to GBP 35,000 per annum, you will also receive a contributory pension scheme, life assurance, private medical cover, and 25 days holiday plus bank holidays.
You will be working 40 hours per week under an annualised hours contract.
As a Class 2 Driver, Your Responsibilities Will Include
* Delivering goods promptly and cost-effectively as instructed by the Depot Manager, ensuring the accuracy of each delivery against the delivery advice note and using the most economical route in the order of priority of each delivery.
* Loading, driving, and unloading the vehicle within the regulations laid down by BASIS, statute, and the Company.
* Maintaining accurate and timely vehicle records and tachograph charts as required by the Company and legislation.
* Operating a forklift truck safely and in accordance with Company standards.
* Maintaining the vehicle in a clean and safe condition. Reporting any defects found daily and ensuring the manners and appearance of self and vehicle are maintained.
* Providing an efficient and courteous image for the Company and its services.
* Adhering to company service standards, procedures, and ways of working.
* Utilising all IT systems to aid with route planning, personal safety, and effective delivery systems.
We're Looking For a Class 2 Driver With
* Drivers CPC Certificate
* Cat C Licence for Class 2
* Digital Tacho Card
* Experience in handballing and strapping down
