Role Summary
We are looking for an experienced and motivated CQC Registered Manager to lead our domiciliary care service in Plymouth. You will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality, person-centred care that meets regulatory standards and supports our clients to live independently at home. This is a key leadership role with the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in your local community.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead, manage, and develop our domiciliary care service in line with CQC regulations and best practice guidelines.
* Ensure all care delivery meets the highest standards of safety, quality, and individualised support.
* Recruit, train, and supervise care staff, fostering a positive and professional working environment.
* Create and review person-centred care plans tailored to each client's needs, preferences, and goals.
* Maintain accurate records and complete regular audits to ensure compliance and continual improvement.
* Act as the main point of contact for clients, families, and external professionals.
* Effectively manage staffing rotas, resources, and budgets to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
* Promote a culture of respect, dignity, and excellence in care delivery.
* Lead on safeguarding, risk assessments, and health & safety processes across the service.
Qualifications & Experience
* Proven experience in a managerial or leadership role within domiciliary or community care.
* Sound knowledge of CQC regulations and the Health & Social Care Act.
* A Level 5 Diploma or equivalent in Leadership for Health and Social Care (or willingness to work towards it).
* Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
* Strong understanding of person-centred care, safeguarding, and care planning.
* Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing client needs and priorities.
* A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle is essential.
