Duties of the Role
The Admissions Assistant is a member the University’s Marketing, Student Recruitment and Admissions team. The successful candidate will be part of a team that works quickly and efficiently in a constantly changing environment. The Admissions Assistant provides high-quality customer service and administrative support across the Admissions service, with a specialist focus on compliance processes that prepare applicants for their Confirmation and Acceptance of Studies (CAS) to be issued to enable them to obtain a visa to study in the UK.
Skills and qualifications required
The Admissions Assistant needs the ability to provide accurate advice in accordance with guidance. They will have excellent oral and written communication skills when handling a high volume of queries – by telephone, in-person, email and Live Chat. They will also need the ability to manage multiple tasks and to prioritise effectively. Please see the person specification for a full list of requirements for this post.
