We’re working with a respected organisation operating within a regulated environment, offering a fantastic opportunity for a qualified legal professional to join their in-house team. This is a broad, hands-on role where you’ll advise on public law, regulatory matters, and support key organisational decisions.
You’ll work closely with senior stakeholders, contribute to policy development and regulatory change, and play a key role in managing legal risk. The position offers strong exposure across the business, alongside the chance to influence meaningful work that protects the public.
What you’ll be doing:
* Providing clear, practical legal advice across public law and regulatory matters
* Supporting decision-making by identifying and managing legal risk
* Contributing to policy development and regulatory initiatives
* Assisting with litigation and managing external legal counsel
* Building strong relationships across the organisation
What we’re looking for:
* Qualified Solicitor or Barrister (England & Wales) with 3+ years PQE
* Strong grounding in public law and/or regulatory work
* Confident communicator with excellent drafting skills
* Proactive, organised, and able to manage competing priorities
* Collaborative mindset with a strong commitment to continuous improvement
