Overview
Supporting Leeds Primary Schools with Inspirational Teachers & Support Staff, empowering whole-school culture with role models and training.
We’re looking for dedicated and compassionate Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) to join our partner schools across Leeds — supporting students with a wide range of needs and helping create a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.
Whether you’re a graduate in Psychology, Education, Drama, or Performing Arts, a career changer, or someone passionate about supporting young people, this is your opportunity to gain hands-on classroom experience and help students thrive.
About the Role:
As an SEN Learning Support Assistant, you’ll support students with additional learning needs, including autism, ADHD, dyslexia, or social and emotional challenges. You’ll work alongside teachers and school staff to:
* Provide one-to-one or small group support.
* Assist in implementing individual learning plans (IEPs).
* Encourage students’ social, emotional, and behavioural development.
* Support life skills, independence, and confidence.
* Help create a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment.
* Collaborate with teachers, parents, and external professionals to monitor progress.
Whether your background is Psychology, Education, Drama, Performing Arts, or another field, your passion for working with children and young people is what matters most.
Qualifications & Attributes
* Passionate about supporting children and young people.
* Patient, empathetic, and proactive.
* Confident communicators with strong interpersonal skills.
* Eager to gain school experience or develop a career in education, SEN, or the performing arts.
* Experience in working with children is desirable but not essential — full training provided.
Benefits & How to Apply
We’re a people-first, environmentally-friendly education agency connecting great educators to local schools. You’ll benefit from:
* Direct links to local schools
* Free lesson plans and training support
* 24/7 support from dedicated consultants
* Interview and classroom preparation guidance
* Commitment to safeguarding and quality
Plus, you’ll be part of something bigger through our charity partner Make Life Kind, which inspires and empowers young people with mentorship, performing arts programs, and kindness-focused initiatives.
