Your new role
As an Assistant Project Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting the smooth operation of fit-out and refurbishment projects. Your responsibilities will include providing administrative support to project managers and site teams, coordinating project documentation, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring effectivemunication between all stakeholders. You will also assist with procurement processes, site logistics, and health & safetypliance, helping to ensure projects arepleted on time and within budget.
1. Coordinate project meetings, including scheduling, taking minutes, and distributing action items.
2. Liaise with subcontractors and suppliers for documentation, insurance, andpliance requirements.
3. Track project timelines, deliverables, and milestones, helping ensure deadlines are met.
4. Ensure health & safety documentation is up-to-date, and site records arepliant.
5. Support the finance team with invoice tracking, expense reports, and project cost reporting.
What you'll need to succeed
To excel in this role, you will need strong organisational and multitasking abilities, high attention to detail, and excellent verbal and writtenmunication skills. You should be able to work independently as well as part of a team, with a proactive approach to problem-solving. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with construction software such as Procore, Aconex, or Viewpoint is desirable. Previous experience in a construction, engineering, or architecture environment, along with knowledge of construction terminology and processes, will be advantageous.
