About the role
We seek a Lead Language Technology Researcher to lead our GenAI and language technology R&D. The candidate will oversee creating language models from scratch, ensuring naturalness, context-appropriateness, and scalable deployment.
Responsibilities
* Lead design of language technology systems and protocols.
* Optimize performance via algorithmic innovation and GPU utilization.
* Mentor junior team members and promote best practices.
* Explore emerging tech for product innovation.
* Collaborate across teams to solve complex challenges.
* Stay updated with industry trends in AI and software engineering.
Requirements
* Expertise in deep learning, diffusion, transformer architectures, especially in language tech models (text-to-speech is a plus).
* Strong publication record in top conferences/journals.
* Proficiency in Python, PyTorch, and deep learning packages.
* Experience leveraging GPUs for training and inference.
* Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD.
* Strong problem-solving skills.
* Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
