Wee to Hays Education
Here at Hays Education, we have built great relationships with all the primary schools in the Dover area. The cover requirements in the Dover area tend to be very high, whether that be on a day-to-day supply basis or on a long-term basis to cover sickness/maternity etc. We are consistently getting a high demand for all-year groups in Primary Schools. We can also ensure that we are offering consistent, paid work to our teachers! We have numerous existing relationships and partnerships with schools in the Kent region, and the need to support our schools will once again be greater than ever.
Your new role
Hays is looking for Supply Teachers who are willing to work on a flexible basis; this opportunity would be perfect for anyone who wants to gain valuable experience in preparation for the next academic year or is looking to pick up an extra day of supply when they can. Are you looking for flexible work? Do you want to be in the classroom but also have a role that fits around your lifestyle? Are you interested in trying different-sized schools and increasing your experience in various educational settings?
You can work as little or as often as you like, and working supply means you can choose which schools you'd like to attend.
We offer long-term, contract, and permanent work, as well as day-to-day opportunities. We also provide CV writing and interview tips to help you advance your career.
What you'll need to succeed
To register with Hays, you must be passionate and driven, with a strong desire to be a successful teacher. To qualify as a teacher, you need a minimum of 2 months of teaching experience in the past 4 years (this can include university placements), the right to work in the UK, and QTS. If you don't have QTS or recent teaching experience, you can register as a Teaching Assistant or Cover Supervisor, provided you have worked with children for at least 1 month in the past 4 years.
We welcome applicants who are currently working for other agencies.
What you'll get in return
As a Hays Supply Teacher, you will receive a competitive rate of pay (dependent on experience). Other benefits include holiday pay and access to our exclusive FREE e-learning platform, where you can complete safeguarding and other courses to aid your development for free!
