About the Role
The Boeing Company is seeking a Structures Test & Evaluation Engineer to work in the Structures and Mechanical Test (STR) team located in Berkeley, MO. The role involves supporting structural, mechanical, and material properties test programs across Boeing divisions, including BCA, BDS, and BGS. Responsibilities include test conceptualization, design, implementation, and conduct for Boeing products. You will work on military aircraft and weapons programs, legacy programs, and support various testing ranging from material testing to full-scale static and fatigue testing.
Responsibilities
* Support test programs under guidance of senior engineers
* Develop test procedures, design fixtures, oversee fabrication, and lead test conduct
* Coordinate with team members and support personnel
* Design and analyze test fixtures, apply mechanical and GD&T principles
* Work with test data, troubleshoot issues, and produce reports
* Present data during reviews and contribute to future testing strategies
Minimum Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field
* Experience with CAD software such as CATIA, SolidWorks, or Siemens NX
* Knowledge of 2D & 3D design, GD&T, and structural testing experience
Preferred Qualifications
* 1+ years' related experience or equivalent education
* Active U.S. Secret Clearance
* Experience with lab hydraulic systems, instrumentation, and structural stress analysis
Additional Details
Position is for 1st shift, with potential for other shifts. Salary range for entry-level is $68,000 - $92,000; for associate level, $79,900 - $108,100. This is a safety-sensitive role requiring drug testing and U.S. Citizenship for security clearance. Boeing offers relocation assistance and a comprehensive benefits package. The role is not contingent on program award, and visa sponsorship is not provided.
