Overview

The key duties include but are not limited to:

* Diary Management and whole school training / school Calendar
* School Bulletin and communications
* Minute Taking (including SLT meetings are every other Tuesday, finish time 6pm)
* Preparation of complex reports and correspondence
* General support and Administrative / secretarial services to SLT
* Line Management responsibilities
* Event management / organisation

We are seeking a dedicated and highly motivated PA to support the Executive Head Teacher and Senior Leadership Team in developing the schools' future and improvement priorities. You will be organised, innovative and proactive with the ability to apply discretion in your work. You will be an experienced PA / Senior Administrator with excellent IT and secretarial skills and ability to communicate with a mix of internal and external stakeholders, including pupils, parents / carers, multi-agencies, partner schools and suppliers. This is a varied role and requires travel across our multi-site provision.


Qualifications

* Maths and English GCSE or Equivalent
* NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification / Significant secretarial experience
* Experience of working within a school / college environment at a senior level
* Have excellent ICT skills including, (office 365 / SIMS / FMS)
* An understanding of relevant policies
* Ability to maintain confidentiality and deal with sensitive issues effectively

West Sussex Alternative Provision College (WSAPC) is an educational establishment based across the county on seven separate sites, providing education for pupils whom are permanently excluded, at risk of exclusion or too ill to attend school. Our ethos is to provide FOCUS (Future, Opportunities:, Curriculum, Us, School) for our pupils to re-engage them in their learning and support re-integration to mainstream provision.
