The Role:
Joining our Adults’ and Children’s Services Transformation Team, as a Project Manager, you'll lead and deliver high-profile transformational programmes and initiatives that improve services and outcomes for our communities. Our Project Managers may be assigned to lead any workstream, project, or programme identified as a priority by the directorate or wider organisation.
What you’ll do:
1. Lead and manage strategic projects and programmes across the directorate, delivering structured change using recognised project management methodologies.
2. Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships and ensure effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.
3. Support workstream leads and maintain robust project controls, including RAID logs, resource tracking, and cost monitoring.
4. Prepare and lead project boards and team meetings, producing high-quality reports and presentations to communicate progress and outcomes.
5. Develop and oversee implementation plans, including PID reviews and performance modelling.
6. Collaborate with other project teams to identify dependencies, share resources, and drive efficiencies.

13. A professional qualification in business or project management, or equivalent experience.
