Overview
NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde is one of the largest healthcare systems in the UK employing around 40,000 staff in a wide range of clinical and non‑clinical professions and job roles. We deliver acute hospital, primary, community and mental health care services to a population of over 1.15 million and a wider population of 2.2 million when our regional and national services are included.
Role Summary
This is a permanent position. The shift pattern has yet to be confirmed.
The purpose of this role is to perform testing of various applications within NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde, in particular system and interface testing.
Responsibilities
Close engagement with a variety of project and support teams as well as service users will be required to interpret business needs, derive test cases and inform a test approach. Agile practices (including Azure DevOps and JIRA) are now our preferred approach and knowledge / experience of such methods would be useful.
Qualifications
Candidate should possess experience of testing either through a relevant diploma / degree or previous practical workplace experience. Consideration will be given to candidates with experience of using or supporting software in use in NHSGGC and who can demonstrate a methodical approach and good service knowledge.
Interview Process
Interviews are expected to be conducted within a fortnight of the closing date.
