Senior Procurement Manager Role
We are looking for an experienced category manager to join our team and manage supplier performance, negotiate contracts and drive cost savings.
This role is ideal for a procurement professional with a background in construction, housing or maintenance who can guide and mentor a small procurement team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage £12m of annual spend and lead the procurement team to deliver real value.
* Develop and implement strategic procurement plans to improve supplier performance and reduce costs.
* Negotiate contracts and manage relationships with key suppliers.
* Guide and mentor a small procurement team to help them grow and develop.
Requirements:
* Proven procurement and contract management experience.
* Strong negotiation skills and a good grasp of procurement regulations.
* Knowledge of NEC/JCT contracts and procurement regulations.
* CIPS Level 4 qualification or working towards.
