Responsibilities
* Provide high-quality healthcare to detainees in custody suites, collaborating with police and ensuring safety with round-the-clock coverage.
* Work in a team rota pattern: 4 shifts on and 4 days off, 06:45–19:00 for two-day shifts and 18:45–07:00 for night shifts.
* Adapt to working in the base custody suite and across an assigned region in Police Custody Suites and Force area.
* Carry out duties with flexibility, including any part-time or bank shifts as required by contract.
* Respond to diverse clinical situations under pressure and maintain professional standards.
Qualifications
* Registered Nurse (RN, RGN, RMN with dual registration) or Paramedic with minimum two years post-qualification experience.
* Experience in patient-facing roles in Accident & Emergency, General Practice, Emergency Medicine, Acute Medicine, Prison Healthcare, or Ambulance Service.
* Current driving licence.
* Right to work in the UK (British passport, ILR for 3 years, no gaps out of UK >3 months).
* Must have NMC/HCPC registration (paid by employer).
* All candidates subject to Police Vetting.
Benefits
* Annual salary: £41,000.
* £1,000 bonus after 12 months of service.
* Average estimated overtime: £3,500 per annum.

* Rolling rota available 2 years in advance.
