Home Manager

An outstanding new opportunity for an experienced Home Manager to manage an amazing nursing home in the Partington, Manchester area. The facility has been designed for people living with dementia. This role requires an active NMC Pin and experience in managing nursing homes.
Salary and Working Hours
Annual Salary: £70,000 per annum.
Hours: 40 hours a week, 9 am – 5 pm.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide leadership and direction to the home’s staff team, promoting a culture of kindness, compassion and empathy.
* Ensure the home meets all regulatory requirements, including those set by the CQC, and maintain excellent standards of care and support.
* Manage the home’s budget, ensuring that financial targets are met and costs are effectively managed.
* Develop and implement a well‑thought‑out marketing plan to maintain full occupancy and promote the home’s services to potential residents, families, and stakeholders.
* Build and maintain positive relationships with residents, families, and all stakeholders, responding effectively to their needs and concerns.
Qualifications and Skills
* Ability to engage with service users to understand their needs in order to deliver person‑centred care.
* Good working knowledge and a proven record of CQC standards.
* Excellent communication and strong leadership credentials.
* Proven track record of marketing and business skills within the private care sector, running a commercially successful, good or outstanding rated care home.
* Confident communicator with strong leadership credentials.
