We are looking for a funeral arranger to join the busy team at Fred Hamer Services, servicing branches across a number of Branches across the East Lancs area, The roll will be full time, with the working day starting at 8.30am and finishing at 5pm Monday-Friday. Applicants must be of smart appearance, caring with a willingness to go the extra mile,organised,good listening skills and a keen eye for detail. Good communication skills are essential as they will be liaising with bereaved families, hospitals, crematoria, church officials and Coroners officers. The ability to work as part of a team and at busy periods help other team members out where needed. Duties will include guiding families through the funeral process, supporting them in making funeral arrangements. Ensuring that all of the relevant paperwork and documentation is completed accurately, and on time. The arranger will also be responsible for providing a detailed handover to the funeral director, in order for the families wishes to go ahead as planned on the day of the funeral. The service that we provide to our families must, at all times, be excellent and the care and consideration of our clients’ needs and wishes is of the utmost importance. We therefore require a person with a positive attitude, with plenty of initiative to learn the procedures and quickly become a valuable member of a busy working team. This role will offer a salary of £25,350.00, 23 days annual leave (plus bank holidays), increasing to 25 days after time in service, pension, company bonus and Christmas vouchers.
