Location: Dumfries | Hours: 14 hours per week | Salary: £29,464.07 – 31,723.44 Pro Rata

What’s the Job?
We are seeking a part-time Management Assessor to join the Skills Delivery Team, responsible for delivering qualifications such as:
* Team Leader SCQF level 6
* Management SCQF level 7
* Management SCQF level 9
The Skills Delivery Team focuses on delivering certificated and bespoke professional courses, SVQs, MAs, and Open Learning courses. The Work-based Learning team is growing and evolving, delivering SVQs and Modern Apprenticeships.
Who we’re looking for?
The ideal candidate will have relevant qualifications and experience, enthusiasm for sharing knowledge, and a passion for supporting candidates. Recent management experience and evidence of continuous professional development in management are essential. Skills required include teamwork, independence, administrative competence, and target-driven attitude. While assessor experience is desirable, training and certification will be provided.
Qualifications and Experience:
* Relevant Qualification at a minimum of SCQF Level 9 (e.g., Degree, Graduate Diploma/HND/SVQ)
* Management experience
* Experience in a similar assessing role is desirable; assessor qualifications are preferred but willingness to work towards them will be considered
* Excellent time management and planning skills
* Strong customer service and relationship-building skills
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Proficiency in MS Office and online portfolios
