We have an exciting opportunity for a Patient Experience Coordinator join the team at HMP Bullingdon, a category B prison located located near Bicester. HMP Bullingdon is a male prison with operational capacity of around 1,100.
This new exciting role puts the patient first, allowing them to shape their medical care and have their issues / complaints heard and investigated. You will be a key member of the healthcare team, ensuring that patients receive the best care possible.
Hours: This role is predominantly Monday to Friday, however there is an expectation that you can work occasional weekends. Salary: This position is full time, youll receive an annual salary up to 26,400per annum - depending on experience. How will we support you?

Main duties of the job
As our new Patient Experience Coordinator, your responsibilities will vary. Some of your duties will include:
1. Work face to face with patients to improve their care
2. Develop and support patient engagement plans, activities and events
3. Coordinate patient complaints - logging complaints as needed and hosting concern clinics, responding to complaints and working with the wider team to investigate and resolve any issues
4. Produce monthly patient newsletter and health promotion material
5. Support the admin team as required - taking minutes in meetings, maintaining data, answering and directing calls etc

Our new Patient Experience Coordinator will:
17. Hold an NVQ Level 2 in Business Administration, or equivalent
18. Have previous experience within an admin role
19. Have experience of patient engagement or complaints management
20. Be able to work within a busy prison environment, with competing priorities
21. Be comfortable working with internal and external stakeholders
22. Have a non-judgemental approach to patient care
