GSL Education are seeking a dedicated Geography Teacher to join a school in the Penistone (S36) area. This is an exciting opportunity to deliver engaging lessons, encourage critical thinking, and help students develop a deep understanding of physical and human geography. As a Geography Teacher, you will: Plan and deliver lessons in line with the national curriculum. Inspire students to explore geographical concepts, current issues, and real-world applications. Create an inclusive and stimulating classroom environment where every student can thrive. Assess and track student progress, providing constructive feedback to support learning. Contribute to extracurricular activities such as field trips, geography clubs, or sustainability projects. Maintain high standards of behaviour management and safeguarding. Requirements for Geography Teacher: UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Geography. Excellent classroom management and communication skills. Ability to engage and motivate students across different abilities. An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
