Windows 11 Rollout Engineer
12 Month Contract
Location: Gloucester / Field Based
Rate: £300 per day (Outside IR35)
A leading public sector organisation is seeking an experienced Windows 11 Rollout Engineer to support the delivery of a major end-user technology upgrade across its estate.
This is a hands-on, field-based role providing 2nd and 3rd line support during the deployment of Windows 11 devices. You'll be working across multiple sites in Gloucestershire, delivering high-quality technical support and excellent customer service to users throughout the rollout.
Valid NPPV3 clearance is highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide 2nd and 3rd line support to end users during the Windows 11 deployment.
* Build, configure, and deploy Windows 11 machines across the organisation.
* Troubleshoot and resolve technical and desktop issues efficiently.
* Deliver an excellent customer experience in user-facing environments.
* Support end users, resolve queries, and ensure minimal disruption during migration.
* Work collaboratively with project teams to ensure smooth rollout delivery.
Experience & Skills
* Proven experience in desktop or field support roles.
* Strong understanding of Windows 10/11 environments, device builds, and deployment processes.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
* Experience working in secure or regulated environments such as policing, public sector, or defence.
* Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel between sites (pool cars provided).
