This is a fantastic opportunity for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a well-established engineering team working within a highly automated manufacturing environment. The engineering department is central to site performance, with a strong focus on preventative maintenance, reliability improvements and continuous improvement rather than simply firefighting breakdowns.

Responsibilities of a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer:
Carry out planned preventative and reactive maintenance across food production and packaging equipment
Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults across plant and machinery
Work on motors, gearboxes, conveyors, sensors, inverters and control systems
Respond to equipment breakdowns to minimise downtime and maintain production performance
Support preventative maintenance activities during planned downtime periods
Contribute to continuous improvement and reliability projects across the site
Work closely with production teams to improve equipment performance and efficiency
Ensure all engineering activities are completed safely and in line with site standards
Skills & Qualifications of a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer:
NVQ Level 3 or equivalent engineering qualification
Electrical, Mechanical or Multi-Skilled maintenance background
Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
Experience within manufacturing, FMCG, food production or automated environments
Knowledge of motors, drives, conveyors and control systems
PLC fault-finding experience advantageous
Positive attitude and willingness to learn and develop
Strong communication and team-working skills

Base salary of £54,000 with paid overtime and annual bonus
4 on 4 off shift pattern (2 days / 2 nights)
