Electrical Maintenance Supervisor
DoncasterSalary £50,20040 hours per week, typically worked over 4 days, Monday to Friday
Elevation Recruitment Group is working with a manufacturing business in Doncaster to recruit an Electrical Maintenance Supervisor.
The Electrical Maintenance Supervisor will lead day-to-day electrical and mechanical maintenance activity, including fault finding, planned maintenance and project work, while supporting the Maintenance Manager.
The Role
As Electrical Maintenance Supervisor, you will:
* Supervise electrical and mechanical maintenance across breakdowns, planned maintenance and project work
* Lead fault finding and repair activity to minimise downtime
* Work with PLC controlled equipment as part of ongoing maintenance and fault diagnosis
* Ensure all maintenance work is carried out safely and in line with health and safety procedures
* Issue and manage permits for employees and contractors
* Plan and manage maintenance workloads, including contractor activity on site
* Maintain accurate records using maintenance reporting systems
* Read and interpret multi-discipline engineering drawings
* Identify and maintain critical spares stock
* Create and work to risk assessments and method statements
* Support investigations and technical meetings when required
* Cover for shift absence when needed and maintain strong housekeeping standards
The Person
To be successful as an Electrical Maintenance Supervisor, you will need:
* Electrical qualification
* Proven experience working with PLC controlled machinery
* IOSH certification
* Experience in heavy industry and automated environments
* Previous experience supervising or leading engineers
* Good organisational skills and attention to detail
* The ability to work at heights and in confined spaces
