As an HR Generalist, you’ll work closely with operational leaders to elevate the colleague experience, strengthen performance, and embed a culture of engagement across a diverse, multi‑site retail network. You’ll be a trusted advisor, a coach, and a champion for great people practices.
What you’ll be doing
* Acting as the first point of contact for HR advice across retail and head office teams
* Supporting the full employee lifecycle: onboarding, probation, performance, development and wellbeing
* Guiding managers through employee relations matters, including investigations, disciplinaries, grievances and absence
* Coaching leaders to build capability, drive performance and foster a positive culture
* Supporting reward, recognition and engagement initiatives
* Ensuring compliance with employment law and HR best practice
* Partnering with L&D colleagues to deliver strong induction and development pathways
* Maintaining accurate HR records and supporting ad‑hoc projects
What you’ll bring
* HR experience in a multi‑site retail or customer‑facing environment
* Confidence managing complex ER cases
* Strong relationship‑building skills across field and head office teams
* A proactive, solutions‑focused mindset with the ability to work autonomously
