Trust IT Manager Grade/Range E01 (SCP 1-8) Actual Salary £42,013 - £50,722 Hours per week 37 Working Weeks 52 Location Any Trust school (some flexibility to work from home) Contract Type Permanent Start Date 1st September 2025 or as soon as possible thereafter About us Unity MAT is a small but ambitious Multi Academy Trust made up of three special schools within the Warwickshire area, these being Brooke School in Rugby, Welcombe Hills School in Stratford Upon Avon and Woodlands School in Coleshill. Our central services functions, including Finance, HR, Site & Facilities and IT have been centralised to form the Trust’s Core Services Team. We believe that this enables us to provide high quality support services to all of our schools and beyond. What we need We are looking for an experienced IT professional, with management experience, to continuously improve our IT capability which supports staff and students across the Trust. This incudes both in-class and administrative support. We are in the process of moving to Arbor and therefore experience of migration and using Arbor (or other MIS systems) would be a distinct advantage. The main duties of the role include: • managing the provision of high quality, effective IT support services across the Trust and its schools, • leading the development and implementation of the Trust’s IT strategy in conjunction with Executive Leaders, • managing the data network, IT infrastructure and telecommunications systems, GDPR and cyber security requirements and data eco-system. • managing the IT Team, including IT Technicians and Data Officer. • managing the Trust’s IT budget and ensuring the best use of resources and value for money in respect of IT equipment and service contracts.
