As we continue to grow, we are looking for a Workshop Manager to lead our furniture manufacturing team, delivering outstanding custom pieces for our beautiful lodge interiors.
Role Overview:
As Workshop Manager, you will oversee the production of bespoke furniture, ensuring all pieces meet the highest standards of quality and craftsmanship. You will manage a team of skilled joiners and craftspeople, organise workflow, and maintain a safe and efficient workshop environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage the day-to-day operations of the workshop.
* Oversee the manufacture of bespoke furniture from start to finish.
* Lead, mentor, and motivate the workshop team.
* Ensure all work is completed to design specifications, quality standards, and deadlines.
* Order materials and manage stock levels.
* Maintain workshop health and safety compliance.
* Liaise closely with the design and production teams to bring concepts to life.
Requirements
Proven experience managing a furniture workshop.
Strong craftsmanship skills, with a background in bespoke furniture or high-end joinery.
Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Organised, efficient, and quality-focused.
A passion for craftsmanship and attention to detail.
Competitive salary based on experience £18-£20 an hour
