Driver Hire Edinburgh West – Class 1 Drivers Wanted

Pay: £15.00 per hour
Job Type: Ad Hoc / Casual / Part-Time (Occasional full-time hours may be available but not guaranteed)
Are you an experienced HGV Class 1 driver looking for flexible, varied work without the commitment of a full-time role? Driver Hire Edinburgh West is seeking professional, reliable, and safety-focused Class 1 drivers to support our clients across West Lothian on an ad hoc basis.

What We’re Looking For:
3. A valid Class 1 (Category C+E) licence
4. Valid CPC certification and Digital Tachograph Card
5. Minimum 1 year Class 1 driving experience – essential
6. No more than 6 penalty points (minor offences only) and no IN, DD, DR or CD endorsements
7. Strong communication and customer service skills
8. Solid understanding of driver hours and transport regulations
9. A professional and adaptable attitude
Typical Duties May Include:
10. Trunking, trailer swaps, and long-distance A–B movements
11. General haulage or pallet network work
12. Deliveries and collections across various industries
13. Loading/unloading when required
14. Completing vehicle checks and maintaining safety compliance
