Base pay range
£12.76 per hour, Monday - Friday, 45 hours per week (Occasional Saturday)
Waste Investigations Support & Enforcement (WISE) is a leading supplier working with Local Authorities to address environmental offences such as littering, dog fouling, fly tipping, and anti-social behaviour. Using advanced technology and industry experience, WISE is a preferred supplier.
Main Purpose of the Role
As an Operational Support Team Administrator, you will work in a busy office environment handling multiple projects with extensive training provided. You will communicate with customers via phone, respond to emails, collaborate with clients, and be accountable for your work.
Key Responsibilities
* Answering calls with customer service skills.
* Responding to client emails regarding complaints or inquiries.
* Using technology to quality assure Fixed Penalty Notices and audit body-worn camera footage.
* Preparing prosecution packs for legal teams and ensuring quality control.
* Utilizing Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word) regularly.
* Communicating with Enforcement Officers on the ground for assistance.
* Updating daily 'hot spot' sheets on areas with littering, dog fouling, or fly tipping issues.
* Managing assigned contracts, including email correspondence, customer queries, and attention to detail.
Ideal Candidate Attributes
* Excellent communication skills, resilient under demanding circumstances.
* Ability to use initiative and work collaboratively.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
* Ability to multitask and prioritize workload.
* Clear, concise written communication.
* Knowledge of waste disposal legislation (preferred).
Requirements
* Reliable commute or relocation to St Helens, WA9 1UA.
* Customer service experience: 1 year.
* IT skills: 2 years.
Additional Details
Full-time, permanent role, 45 hours/week, with occasional Saturday work compensated with a midweek rest day. Pay is £12.76/hour, with 28 days' leave including bank holidays. Target start date: June 10th, 2025.
