 
        
        We are supporting our client in the recruitment of an EC&I Technician to join their maintenance team at a major energy generation facility within a Top Tier COMAH site in Cumbria.
The role is responsible for maintaining and supporting the site’s electrical, control, and instrumentation systems to ensure safe, efficient and reliable operations 24/7.
Key Responsibilities:
 
Conducting PPM, defect repairs and fault finding on EC&I systems. 
Troubleshooting rotating and static equipment. 
Working with CMMS (Maximo), and ensuring safety documentation (RAMS, permits) is completed to standard. 
Supporting project scopes and supervising contractors. What We're Looking For:
 
Apprenticeship or NVQ Level 3 in Electrical, Instrument or Control Engineering. 
Strong understanding of control loops, instrumentation, and EC&I safety regulations. 
Good working knowledge of risk assessments, method statements, and electrical schematics. 
Willingness to develop across both Electrical and C&I disciplines. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a high-performing engineering team supporting one of the UK’s most critical energy operations.
