Production EngineerUp to £45,000 per annumEstablished, respected manufacturing company.Excellent benefitsDay shifts Mon-Fri (37.5 hrs per week)We are working with a respected client in Rochdale who are recruiting for a Production Engineer due to expansion to support function to all areas of production.The JobCAD knowledge (Solidworks)Experience of 4 and 5-axis machining techniquesExperience of CNC LathesExecution of manufacturing engineering tasks to deadlinesCreation of process specificationsSupport the department with Routings, BOMs, Production Orders, CostingsKnowledge of ERP systems preferably SAPProvide support and expertise to optimise and improve process capability and yieldAbility to interface with internal and external stakeholders e.g., Purchasing, Engineering, Group etcAbout youExperience of working in a technical/engineering environment medium to heavy engineeringExperience, Knowledge of Hard Surface welding methods.Ability to read and interpret engineering drawingsSolidWorks 3D ModellingProject management skillsCreating BOMs and routingsPreparation of costings for intercompany productionLean principles, Waste reduction, efficiency improvements, process flow, etcFormal technical qualification craft/technician level machining-biased apprenticeship up to HNC/HND level in Mechanical/Production EngineeringIf you are based close to Rochdale and have worked in a similar role please send your CV, in confidence, to James at The Recruitment Fix.TPBN1_UKTJ
