SEN Teaching Assistant – Full Time – Bournemouth – Easter Start We are currently seeking an experienced and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join one of our welcoming schools in Bournemouth from the Easter term. This is a full-time position supporting a child on a 1:1 basis who is relocating to the area. The child has ADHD and requires a consistent, positive role model to act as a buddy throughout the school day – providing guidance, structure, and encouragement to help them thrive both academically and socially. The Role: Full-time position starting after Easter 1:1 support for a child with ADHD Providing emotional regulation support and clear boundaries Working closely with the class teacher and SENCo Supporting engagement, focus, and positive behaviour strategies The Ideal Candidate: Experienced supporting children with ADHD and additional needs Calm, patient, and resilient Strong behaviour management skills Able to build trusting, supportive relationships Proactive and confident in implementing strategies This is a fantastic opportunity for a committed SEN Teaching Assistant who is passionate about making a real difference in a child’s educational journey.
