Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Be empowered to meet the customer where they are and personalize their experience:
* Greet every customer with a helpful and friendly approach, read customer cues, match their needs with an elevated level of service, and meet the customer where they are at.
* Share the benefits of the DSW (Designer Shoe Warehouse) Loyalty program and enroll new members.
* Answer questions regarding product and complete customer transactions through either in-store sales or digital orders.
Be committed to the customer having a consistent positive experience:
* Maintain a neat, clean, and safe environment for internal and external customers, including clearing trash, cleaning the store, and organizing stock.
* Receive inbound freight, prepare, and place merchandise on the sales floor per DSW standards, complete markdowns, and maintain the stockroom.
Leverage in-store and digital services to bring shoes to life:
* Complete fulfillment functions, including locating items, inspecting, packaging, and labeling for pickup/delivery.
* Use company tools to search product availability (e.g., iPhone, Register).
Prioritize customer service:
* Handle transactions accurately, follow policies, and partner with the CEL on escalated issues.
Bring energy and fun to your role:
* Participate in team meetings and training, be open to feedback, and support inclusivity.
Required Skills:
* Availability to meet business needs.
* Professional, friendly, and customer-focused demeanor.
* Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
* Good communication skills.
* Proficiency with technology (Register, iPhone, Calculator).
* Ability to stand or walk up to 100% of the time.
* Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally and frequently.
* Stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl regularly.
Experience:
