Generic role duties
Audit Work
To work flexibly to complete audit assignments both remotely and in the office.
To prepare audits and any relevant documents, ensuring all work produced is accurate,to the highest standard and in accordance with relevant legislation.
To plan, organise, and lead on audit assignments, working with an identified team toensure client satisfaction and that work is done in accordance with ISA regulations.
To delegate work to audit juniors to ensure audits and other relevant documents areprepared accurately and in accordance with relevant standards. To review this work andprovide training, support and regular constructive feedback when necessary.
To use the audit process to identify weaknesses and recommendations for improvementto the client’s internal controls and systems.
Communication and Quality
To plan, manage, and prioritise your own workflow, budgets, and productivity to ensuretargets and deadlines are met.
To deal with all communications in a timely manner and ensure they are of a highprofessional standard.
To act as a first point of contact for clients, developing good client relationships andidentifying potential opportunities.
To communicate effectively with the Audit Partner, Senior Statutory Auditor and otherteam members on work being carried out.
Any Other Tasks
To work closely with other members of the team on specialist projects as and whenrequired.
To be adaptable and able to pick up work in other areas of need within the business,such as accounts drafting and supporting clients with ad hoc projects and advice.
Central Duties
To help the Audit Partner and Audit Manager identify ways to improve and develop theaudit team.
To represent the business when required to ensure positive links, relations and networks

Skill Requirements
Education / Qualifications
Five GCSEs at Grade A-C (9-4) to include Maths and English.
AAT/ACA/ACCA qualified; or a graduate with an accounts related degree;or qualified by experience.
Skills/ Knowledge/ Experience
2+ years of experience in accountancy practice in a relevant sector.
Strong understanding of the International Standards on Auditing (UK).
Good knowledge and understanding of accounting standards andregulations including the preparation of accounts and corporation taxcomputations. Strong experience in preparing and auditing accounts.
Good working knowledge of relevant UK tax regulations such as Corporation Tax.
Experience using DAPA – Digita Accounts Production Advanced.
Knowledge and experience with Xero/Sage/Quickbooks software.
Competent in Microsoft Word/Excel/Outlook.
Analytical ability.
A methodical approach and problem-solving skills.
