E2A is a small SEN provision unit based in Addlestone KT15.
We are appointing a KS3 and KS4 physics and chemistry teacher. The ability to also teach maths is a bonus.
We are looking for an inspiring and passionate educator with the ability to work with students with ASD, ADHD, dyslexia, PDA and other learning needs to join our team at our centre.
The ideal candidate must be able to teach children who thrive in a supportive, individualised learning environment, be outgoing, independent and able to plan their own lessons. In addition, they must be prepared to supervise outdoor activities (football and basketball) during lunchtime.
Key responsibilities:
* Deliver engaging lessons tailored to the needs of students with ASD and other learning needs.
* Develop and implement differentiated teaching strategies to cater to diverse learning needs.
* Support students progress, ensuring they meet their academic goals.
* Help students develop study skills, improve self-confidence, and achieve independence.
Essential skills and Qualifications:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
* Experience teaching GCSE and IGCSE physics and chemistry
* Knowledge and understanding of ASD and how to support students with additional needs.
* Strong classroom management skills and the ability to create a calm, inclusive and positive environment.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
