GSL Education are currently seeking a dedicated PE Support professional for a school in Maltby, offering a competitive daily rate of £95 to £120, depending on experience. Role Overview:
You will assist in delivering high-quality PE sessions, supporting teachers in managing classes, and encouraging pupils to engage actively in physical activity. Your support will be crucial in promoting fitness, teamwork, and enjoyment of sport across the school.
Job Responsibilities:
* Support PE teachers in planning and delivering engaging physical education lessons.
* Assist pupils in developing motor skills, coordination, and fitness.
* Encourage positive behaviour and teamwork during PE activities.
* Help organise sports equipment and prepare facilities for lessons.
* Support school sports events and extracurricular activities.
* Maintain a safe and inclusive environment for all pupils.
Job Requirements:
* Experience supporting physical education or coaching young people.
* Good understanding of PE principles and school sports activities.
* Ability to motivate and engage pupils of varying abilities.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Enthusiastic, reliable, and a team player.
* Relevant sports or PE qualifications desirable but not essential.
* Have an updated CV (covering the last ten years, barring any unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one).
