Job Summary
This is a flexible role, providing chair side, decontamination and reception support, within a small team.
It is open to qualified dental nurses but also unqualified who may want to move into a training scheme or apprenticeship.

The role of the dental nurse is pivotal within the patient care journey at our practice.
Training will include hands on running of the surgery to support the dentist and the patient.
Duties
* Assist the dentist during examinations and treatments, ensuring all necessary instruments are prepared and sterilised.
* Provide high-quality patient care by reassuring patients, explaining procedures, and addressing any concerns they may have.
* Maintain accurate patient records and assist with administrative tasks as needed, including scheduling appointments and managing patient files.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including infection control protocols.
* Monitor inventory levels of dental supplies and assist in ordering as required.
* Communicate effectively with patients and team members to ensure smooth operations within the practice.
* Participate in continuous professional development to stay updated on the latest dental practices and technologies.
Requirements
* Qualified Dental Nurse with relevant certification or training.
* Strong IT skills for managing patient records and scheduling systems.
* Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with patients and colleagues.
* Demonstrated ability to provide compassionate patient care while maintaining professionalism.
* Highly organised with strong attention to detail to ensure efficient practice operations.
* Previous experience in a dental setting is preferred but not essential; a willingness to learn is crucial.
