We are working with an education provider in the Lancashire area who are looking for an Engineering Vocational Assessor to join their team on a full:time and permanent basis.
The successful candidate would be based out of their main centre in Lancashire and would be tasking with vocationally assessing Engineering apprentices on their industrial skills. They are ideally wanting a multi:skilled engineer to cover both Mechanical and Electrical apprentices, but might be able to consider someone who is single:skilled.
The role would also involve going out to some workplaces to conduct the assessments, in areas such as Preston, Leyland, Blackburn and Burnley. They would try to tailor your caseload to as close to your home address as possible.
The starting salary for this position is between GBP 31,500 and GBP 33,500 per annum, which would also include a workplace pension, business mileage expenses, free parking, health cover, life insurance, 3 dedicated annual CPD days, in:house training and 29 days paid holiday (plus Bank Holidays).
To be eligible for the position, you MUST have:
:An Engineering qualification
:Over 5 years of post:apprenticeship industry experience
:An assessor award OR a willingness to achieve one
