JOB SUMMARY
The Rudding Park team's core purpose is to create timeless memories and instinctive care in exceptional spaces.
The Maintenance Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the hotel resort's maintenance operations, ensuring that all facilities, equipment and infrastructure are kept in excellent working condition. This role combines hands-on technical skills with management and planning to maintain safety and high standards that enhance the guest experience.
Undertake out of hours callout role as required.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* To act as Deputy Head Engineer, in times of delegation or absence of the Head Engineer.
* To manage department holidays, sickness and shift rota.
* To take ownership and maintain the Rudding Works List, RWL
* To take ownership and maintain the Contractor Attendance Tracker, CAT
* To take ownership and maintain the Lodge Observation Book, LOB
* To produce a weekly forecast of work for the Company Stakeholders.
* To report daily to the Head Engineer and include him in salient email correspondence.
* Administrate and manage departmental works, equipment condition and staff.
* Ownership of skill associated equipment and systems.
* Management of project works and associated tasks.
* Mechanical and electrical repairs, maintenance and installation; in accordance with skill level and ability.
* Monitor and maintain spare part levels for critical equipment.
* Establishing and maintaining a safe working environment.
* Ensuring work is carried out in a safe and effective manner.
GENERAL
* Maintain a high standard of dress and personal hygiene.
* Be pleasant and helpful to all staff; bright and cheerful to guests.
* When needed, provide assistance to guests and employees.
* Self-progression, undertake in-house training and external training courses.
* Promote continuous improvement in the level of quality and guest care provided by the business and make proposals/suggestions where applicable.
* Undertake any other duties commensurate within the position for which you are qualified.
