About The Role
We are expanding our electrical division and need a Mobile Electrician to work within our Exeter area team.
In this role you will install, maintain, service and repair electrical and mechanical equipment between branches and customer sites across the South region in a safe, professional and efficient manner. Working hours are Monday to Friday (40 hours per week) with an on‑call rota (variable depending on business needs).
Requirements
* Must hold an ECS Gold Card or have the relevant qualifications and experience to obtain one.
* JIB Qualified Electrician (or able to meet the requirements for the ECS Gold card – 18th edition).
* Full UK driving licence (the company van is provided).
Responsibilities
* Carry out electrical installation work efficiently in accordance with IEE Regulations for Electrical Installations and the Construction Industry Safety Regulations.
* Maintain, install, service and repair electrical/mechanical pump sets within the hire fleet and any customer units to required legislative standards.
* Produce reports and estimates for repair units and advise on safety issues.
* Maintain good housekeeping, ensuring work areas and vehicles are kept tidy and clean.
* Adhere to all required Risk Assessment/Method Statements.
* Communicate regularly and effectively with managers, customers and stakeholders regarding business and customer expectations on timelines, quality and service levels.
* Work independently, managing own workloads and call‑outs. Attend call‑outs for the branch as part of a 1‑in‑6‑weeks rota.
