About the Company
We are a leading international industrial group in high-value components for the petrochemical industry (ethylene, syngas, DRI). With several production sites across Europe and recent strategic growth through acquisition, we are entering a new phase of commercial development and are looking for a dynamic Sales Manager to drive our expansion in North America.
Your Role
Reporting directly to the Chief Commercial Officer (CCO), you will be responsible for developing and managing sales activities across North America for the full product portfolio. This is a strategic role with a high level of autonomy and visibility within the organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement sales strategies to expand the customer base
* Identify and qualify new business opportunities and market segments
* Lead the preparation of commercial offers and proposals
* Analyze RFQs and optimize commercial responses
* Manage pricing and contract conditions in coordination with Finance and Sales leadership
* Handle negotiations with various stakeholders in the customer organisation (engineering, production, maintenance, procurement, etc.)
* Ensure contract follow-up through to full payment
* Collaborate with local agents and internal teams to support sales execution
* Participate in marketing actions, trade shows, and industry events
* Monitor market trends and competitive landscape
Your Profile
* Proven experience in technical sales (B2B), preferably in industrial equipment, metallurgy, or heavy manufacturing
* Strong customer orientation with hands-on approach
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to read and interpret technical specifications and engineering drawings
* Fluent in English (written & spoken)
* Good knowledge of Incoterms, international trade documentation, and export procedures
