Job Title: Social Worker - Child in Need Location: Northumberland Pay Rate: £27 per hour Job Description: Liquid Personnel is recruiting experienced Social Workers on behalf of our client’s Child in Need team based in Northumberland. What will your responsibilities be? Carry out Child in Need assessments to determine the level of support required. Develop and implement Child in Need plans in collaboration with families and professionals. Coordinate services such as housing, education, and health to meet the child’s needs. Monitor progress and review plans regularly to ensure effectiveness. Work with children who may be disabled, young carers, homeless, or affected by parental issues (e.g. imprisonment, substance misuse). Promote the child’s welfare while supporting family stability. Engage with families on a voluntary basis, unless safeguarding concerns arise. Liaise with multi-agency teams including schools, health professionals, and voluntary organisations. Qualifications & Experience: To be successful in this role you must have, Social Work England registration Eligible to work in the UK Hold a full UK driving licence Post-qualified experience Degree level or equivalent in Social Work Why Liquid Personnel?
