Responsibilities of the Accountant role include:
* Preparing statutory accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies
* Assisting with corporation tax and personal tax computationsPreparing VAT returns and supporting client compliance work
* Liaising with clients to resolve queries and provide advice
* Supporting senior colleagues with more complex assignments
* Ensuring accuracy, deadlines and compliance standards are maintained
Requirements of the Accountant role include:
* Previous UK practice experience is essential
* AAT qualified, part qualified ACCA/ACA, or qualified by experience
* Strong technical understanding of accounts preparation and tax compliance
* Good client communication skills and confidence in handling queries
* Proactive, organised and keen to develop within practice
