Overview

Online Learning Platform Lead
Location: St Austell
Salary: £28,000 FTE
Terms & Conditions: Full Time (37 hours/52 weeks), Support Contract

About the Role

Based at our St Austell campus, this role is all about supporting adult learners to succeed through our online courses with The Skills Network and Learning Curve. You'll oversee learner engagement, allocate learners to Assessors and IQAs to ensure timely marking, and provide clear communication, advice, and guidance to help learners stay on track. The role also involves managing registrations with exam teams and awarding bodies, ensuring completions and accurate destinations, and preparing key data for reviews, audits, and meetings. You'll champion high professional standards, contribute to quality assurance and compliance, and work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver an outstanding student experience with excellent achievement rates. To succeed, you'll bring strong organisational, communication and ICT skills, alongside the ability to analyse data, solve problems, and make a real difference to our learners' journeys.


Skills & Experience

We are looking for someone with a proven ability to manage their own time and workload effectively, with experience of thriving in a busy environment and working under pressure. You will bring a strong background in managing online learning platforms and handling customer service enquiries with professionalism and care. Excellent communication and ICT skills are essential, alongside the ability to analyse data and present information clearly.

You will hold a minimum of a Level 3 qualification relevant to the role and demonstrate a commitment to equality, diversity, and sustainability. Knowledge of verification practices and employment law relating to associate workers will be an advantage, as will a full driving licence with access to your own transport. Personally, you will be highly organised, flexible, and able to meet targets and deadlines, with the confidence to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team. You will also be committed to continuous improvement, acting on learner feedback, and willing to further develop your skills to meet the needs of the role.
