Role Responsibilities
Providing highly visible professional leadership and direction for colleagues is a critical part of this role. The Executive Director of Nursing, Midwifery, Allied Health Professionals (AHPs) and Quality will work closely with medical, operational and corporate colleagues to inspire improvements that make a real difference to patients and families.
As a key part of the Lancashire and South Cumbria Integrated Care System, you will actively build relationships and collaborate openly with colleagues across the Integrated Care Board, the Provider Collaborative and the area’s five providers.

Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) Checks
If the role requires a DBS check, this will be administered as part of your pre‑employment checks. The standard level of check depends on the role offered. Current charges are:
* Basic DBS check: £25.50
* Standard DBS check: £25.50
* Enhanced DBS check: £53.50
You may choose to pay the fee in a single payment or over 1–3 months via salary deduction. You can register for the DBS update service for an annual fee of £16. DBS checks remain free of charge for volunteer positions. Should you withdraw your application, you may be required to reimburse the cost of the DBS check.
Additional Information
In line with national NHS guidelines, the Trust operates a strict non‑smoking policy. Members of staff are not permitted to smoke on Trust premises or grounds at any time. The Trust does not offer interview expenses to shortlisted candidates unless indicated in the advert.
