Programme Manager - Policy Administration System Implementation (12-Month Initial Contract)

We are excited to offer an exceptional opportunity for a Programme Manager to join a leading insurance company in the implementation of a new Policy Administration System (PAS). We are looking for an experienced Programme Manager with a robust background in the insurance sector to lead a complex, long-term programme aimed at renewing technology and business processes over the next 2-3 years. This is a unique chance to shape governance, optimize processes, and guide the programme from inception to successful delivery.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- **Programme Leadership:** Oversee the implementation of the policy administration system, establishing key milestones and ensuring that deliverables align with scope, budget, and timeline.
- **Governance Set-Up:** Develop governance frameworks and structures to facilitate smooth programme operations and effective reporting.
- **Process Improvement:** Identify, streamline, and enhance existing processes to maximize efficiency throughout the programme’s lifecycle.
- **Stakeholder Engagement:** Act as a liaison for internal and external stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and alignment with client objectives.
- **Proactive Problem Solving:** Anticipate and address potential issues or delays proactively to maintain programme momentum.
- **Risk Management:** Identify and manage risks, dependencies, and their potential impacts on programme delivery.
**Candidate Requirements:**
- **Proactive and Results-Driven:** Demonstrated ability to exceed expectations, meet deadlines, and deliver high-quality results.
- **Related Sector Experience:** Proven track record of managing programmes within the insurance, financial or similar professional sectors.
- **Policy Administration System Implementation:** Experience in delivering complex system implementations from inception to completion is highly desirable.
- **Governance and Process Optimisation:** Expertise in establishing governance structures and optimizing processes for programme success.
- **Stakeholder Management:** Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
