Full time: Monday – Thursday 07.30 – 16.00, Friday 07.30 – 15.30
You will be carrying out maintenance and repairs to tanker bodies and all associated equipment and systems, including; pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical circuits.
Prior service engineer experience is a must, and it is desirable for you to have welding experience and the skills and knowledge having worked directly within this industry, we recognise that transferable skills are fine but evidenced within a similar industry,
Your main job responsibilities will be:
* Carry out maintenance and repairs to tanker bodies and all associated equipment and systems
* Post build fabrication & modification of body equipment and associated parts to suit customer requirements
* Periodic / post repair tank testing inspections and sign off
* Servicing and repairs to both Whale and Non- Whale vehicles, including welding
* Maintaining a clean, organised and productive work area
* Adhere, and work to, Health and Safety regulations
We are looking for someone who is / has:
1. Knowledge and experience of working with commercial vehicles, plant machinery / HGV vehicles
2. An engineering background including knowledge of pneumatic, hydraulic and electric circuits
3. A background in welding would be desirable
4. A full UK driving licence and the ability to drive is essential
5. A good problem solver with the ability to see an issue to its end
6. The ability to work at heights and in confined spaces would be desirable
