An exciting opportunity has arisen for Catering Assistants to work within the kitchen at Ninewells Hospital. We are looking for a team member to join our department. You will be responsible for delivering the highest standard of Catering Service within the Hospital to patients, staff and visitors whilst maintaining a clean, safe working environment. This post includes cleaning equipment and is a physically demanding job. Previous work in a catering environment is essential.
You must have the ability to work as part of a team or on your own initiative, follow instructions and possess good communication skills. You must also be able to respond constructively to unpredictable situations and cope under pressure. There are two posts available.
You will be required to achieve the mandatory Induction standards for Healthcare Support Workers in Scotland and to comply with the Code of Conduct throughout your employment.

Post 1: 29.6 hours, 5 days from 7 to be discussed at interview. Shift times vary between 7am – 8pm and enhancements are paid for weekend work.
Post 2: 23.7 hours, 13:30 to 20:00 hrs Tuesday to Friday
Hours will be discussed at interview. Please note the salary scale for this post is pro rata for part time hours.
