Description
We’re looking for an experienced and business-savvy AI Consultant to join our AI & Advanced Analytics team at Snap Analytics. This is a hybrid role that blends strategic project leadership with deep data science expertise; ideal for someone who can translate business goals into technical execution while staying hands-on with analytics and modelling.
In this role, you’ll lead the delivery of a greenfield AI application, built from the ground up. You’ll shape the vision, define the roadmap, and guide technical teams while also applying your own analytical expertise to solve complex problems and influence business outcomes. What youll be doing...
• Leading end-to-end delivery of an AI product built on enterprise cloud infrastructure
You’ll manage all aspects of a brand-new AI application project — scoping, planning, budgeting, risk mitigation, stakeholder alignment, and reporting.
• Translating business goals into technical execution plans
You’ll serve as a trusted bridge between non-technical business stakeholders and engineering teams, ensuring alignment on vision, scope, and constraints.
• Designing and deploying predictive models and data-driven solutions
From regression and forecasting to optimisation models, you’ll apply statistical and machine learning methods to drive measurable business impact.
• Applying strong domain knowledge to shape problem framing and solution design
With your background in business analysis, you’ll help define use cases, success metrics, and priorities that matter most to stakeholders.
• Communicating insights and technical progress to varied audiences
You’ll lead conversations from sprint reviews to executive briefings, always ensuring your insights are relevant, understandable, and actionable.
• Collaborating cross-functionally across AI, data, DevOps, and product teams
You’ll orchestrate smooth delivery, resolve blockers, and foster a shared understanding of business and technical objectives.
• Working in cloud-native environments with Snowflake and AWS
You’ll operate confidently in an enterprise cloud stack, managing dependencies across services like S3, EC2, API Gateway, and Redshift.
What youll need to succeed...
• Around 10 years of experience in combined project management and data science roles, ideally in enterprise or cloud environments.
• A proven ability to lead data/AI projects end-to-end, from ideation through deployment.
• Hands-on experience with Python, SQL, and applied data science techniques.
• Familiarity with Snowflake, AWS Cloud, and data architecture principles.
• The ability to translate business requirements into technical deliverables and vice versa.
• A background in or close collaboration with business analysis, helping turn analytics into action.
• Strong communication and leadership skills across technical and non-technical audiences.
• A delivery mindset, with a sharp eye for risk, quality, and long-term value.
